Description:
INCOG Biopharma Services is seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage projects in aseptic
manufacturing, technology transfers, and new product launches (commercial/ large budget projects).
The Senior Project Manager will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, reporting
directly to the Director of Project Management, to routinely take on critical projects.
Role Responsibilities:
● Independently manage day to day project and team activities, and issues on global projects
across multiple organizations, geographies, and business areas.
● Interface with senior management on significant matters, often requiring the coordination of
activity across organizational units.
● Participate in the development of teammates by facilitating training, providing feedback and
guidance. Act as a mentor to less-experienced staff and provide work direction or supervision
for other employees.
● Consult with internal project groups by sharing project management knowledge and assisting
or mentoring more junior project leaders in project management processes and techniques.
● Actively manage projects to achieve KPIs and proactively discuss any corrective courses of
action with the customer and internal teams.
● Identify and manage significant risks, develop mitigation plans, bring solutions to complex
situations that have high ambiguity, and lead the delivery of several, diverse projects at the
same time.
● Work closely with Business Development to generate Project Plans from Project Proposal
documentation.
● Ensure the use of formal project and program management processes and tools.
Education and Experience Requirements:
● Proven high level of customer service professionalism; ability to forge strong customer
relationships.
● Advanced knowledge of all phases of drug development, of the functions and processes
relevant to drug development, and project management principles applicable to the
biopharmaceutical environment.
● 5-8 years of project management experience within a CDMO/ pharmaceutical manufacturing,
with aseptic environment experience.
● 3+ years of experience managing large budget &/or commercial projects.
● Strong cross-functional negotiating and decision-making skills.
● PMP/PgMP certification required, or ability and willingness to obtain certification.
● Undergraduate degree or equivalent
